Ruby Talks: DHH will be joining the FINAL RailsConf for a special fireside chat 🔥

In this exclusive conversation, Ruby Central’s Rhiannon Payne sits down with David Heinemeier Hansson (DHH) — creator of Ruby on Rails and CTO of 37signals — in anticipation of his keynote fireside chat at the final RailsConf in Philadelphia (July 8–10, 2025). DHH shares reflections on nearly two decades of RailsConf, why Rails is uniquely positioned for the AI era, and why this moment feels like a turning point for the ecosystem. We also dive into the global growth of Ruby and Rails events, the mission of the Rails Foundation, and what it is about Ruby that continues to make it one of the most beloved languages in the world.
